Dhruv Metals, a prominent manufacturer and supplier located in Hyderabad, India, has built a solid reputation for providing top-notch Aluminium 3003 Forgings that meet both industrial standards and the unique needs of their clients. This alloy, Aluminium 3003, is a well-loved non-heat-treatable option known for its impressive corrosion resistance, workability, and moderate strength. Dhruv Metals boasts a diverse selection of forged components, including rings, blocks, flanges, and custom parts, catering to a variety of industries. With cutting-edge forging technology, a skilled team, and a strong dedication to quality, Dhruv Metals proudly serves clients in the architectural, food processing, chemical, and transportation sectors, both in India and around the world.
Aluminium 3003 is mainly made up of about 98.6% aluminum, along with 1.0–1.5% manganese and trace amounts of copper (0.05–0.2%), plus small quantities of iron and silicon. This non-heat-treatable alloy is celebrated for its excellent corrosion resistance and good formability. Typically, its tensile strength falls between 140–200 MPa, yield strength ranges from 70–145 MPa, and elongation is around 10–30%, depending on the temper (like H14 or O). While it may not be as strong as heat-treated alloys, 3003 shines in weldability and is perfect for applications that require moderate strength and outstanding oxidation resistance.

Aluminum 3003 offers excellent corrosion resistance, good formability, lightweight, and high strength-to-weight ratio, making it ideal for custom forgings in industries like aerospace, automotive, and construction.
Aluminum 3003 is not ideal for high-temperature forging applications due to its low strength at elevated temperatures. It is more suitable for applications requiring good formability at moderate temperatures.
Aluminum 3003 has good workability, making it easy to forge. Its excellent formability allows for smooth shaping, but it requires careful temperature control to avoid material damage during forging.
Aluminium 3003 Forgings are commonly found in architectural projects, such as roofing sheets, siding panels, and gutters, thanks to their corrosion resistance and ease of fabrication. In the food and beverage sector, this alloy is used for cookware, storage tanks, and processing equipment due to its non-toxic and non-reactive properties. The transportation industry utilizes it for fuel tanks, trailer roofs, and vehicle panels. Additionally, it’s employed in HVAC systems, chemical equipment, and pressure vessels. Aluminium 3003 is the go-to choice for applications that demand moderate strength, high corrosion resistance, and excellent workability.
