Hyderabad-based Dhruv Metals deals in top-grade Aluminium Bars and Rods, supplied in major alloy grades like 1050, 6061, 2014, and 7075. Our precision-fabricated aluminium stock adheres to ASTM B211/B221 standards with uniform diameter and superior surface finish. Lightweight, corrosion-resistant, and dimensionally stable, these bars and rods are used extensively in machining, extrusion, fabrication, and structural applications. We provide sizes customized to engineering applications—round, hexagonal, and square stock. With outstanding electrical/thermal conductivity in pure alloys and excellent strength in alloy grades, Dhruv Metals provides stable stock solutions for various industries.
Aluminium bars and rods vary from ≥99.5% purity (e.g., 1050) to alloyed compositions with Mg, Si, Cu, Zn (e.g., 6061, 2014, 7075). Tensile strength ranges from 70–570 MPa and yield strength between 35–500 MPa with elongation ranging from 10–35% based on alloy. Pure grades provide better formability and conductivity, while the alloyed grades provide greater stiffness and resistance to fatigue. These products have heat-treated tempers (e.g., T6, T7351) as well as non-heat-treatable tempers. They also provide excellent anodizing quality, machinability, and corrosion resistance for both structural and electrical applications.

Yes, aluminum bars are corrosion-resistant due to the formation of a natural oxide layer on the surface, which protects them from rust and deterioration, especially in various environmental conditions.
Yes, aluminum rods can be customized in size and length according to specific requirements. Manufacturers can cut, shape, and tailor the rods to meet precise specifications for various applications.
Aluminium bars perform poorly in high-temperature environments, as they lose strength and can soften at temperatures above 150-200°C. They are prone to oxidation and are unsuitable for extreme heat applications.

We provide products that come with both mill test certificates and third-party test certificates, ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance.
