Beryllium Chromium Copper (C17510) has about 0.5–2.0% beryllium, 0.4–1.0% chromium, and the rest copper. It provides tensile strength of up to 1100 MPa, yield strength up to 800 MPa, and elongation of 10–15%. Hardness is between 35 to 45 HRC. The alloy is electrically conductive between 45–60% IACS and thermally stable up to 300°C. It is non-magnetic and resistant to corrosion, has good machinability, and responds to age-hardening for enhanced strength in service.
