Hyderabad-based Dhruv Metals is a renowned manufacturer and supplier of high-grade Nimonic Bars and Rods for industries that require superior performance under severe conditions. With a reputation established over the years, Dhruv Metals supplies precision-made products intended for application in aerospace, power generation, automotive, and other high-technology industries. Being strong, durable, and heat-resistant, our Nimonic products are carefully crafted with strict industry standards in mind. Our Nimonic Bars and Rods come in a range of size specifications and are now a go-to partner for companies that require durable, reliable, and high-performance Nimonic solutions.
Our Nimonic Bars and Rods are high-performance nickel-based alloys usually consisting of 50–70% nickel, combined with chromium (14–22%), cobalt (2–20%), titanium (2.8–3.5%), and aluminum (1.5–2.5%). Trace amounts of iron, carbon, and molybdenum improve their strength and resistance to oxidation. They have tensile strengths of up to 1300 MPa, superior creep resistance in temperatures up to 1000°C, and good corrosion resistance. Their thermal stability combined with mechanical integrity places them in a position to work for extended periods in high-stress, elevated-temperature conditions.

Nimonic rods can be susceptible to galvanic corrosion when in contact with more electropositive metals, especially in the presence of an electrolyte. Proper insulation or coating can help mitigate this risk.
Nimonic bars are available in various sizes, ranging from small diameters (6mm) to larger ones (up to 200mm). Common finishes include hot rolled, cold drawn, and polished.
Yes, Nimonic alloys, including Nimonic 75 and 80A, can be welded. However, proper welding procedures and pre- and post-weld heat treatment are essential to avoid cracking and ensure strength.
Nimonic Rods and Bars are extensively applied in industries requiring high-temperature strength and resistance to corrosion. In the aerospace sector, they find excellent use in turbine blades, jet engine parts, and combustion chambers. Their capacity for withstanding extended exposure to long periods of intense heat and stress makes them important in gas turbines, nuclear reactors, and power plants. The good creep resistance of Nimonic guarantees structural stability in long-pressure high-duration applications. In addition, these alloys are used in chemical processing facilities, where resistance to corrosive chemicals and high temperatures is vital to performance and safety.
