Super Duplex Steel Round Bars generally consist of 24–26% chromium, 6–8% nickel, 3–5% molybdenum, 0.2–0.3% nitrogen, along with trace amounts of manganese and copper. This dual-phase (austenitic-ferritic) structure enhances both corrosion resistance and strength. These bars provide a tensile strength of around 800–900 MPa, a yield strength of about 550 MPa, and an elongation of 25%, all while exhibiting excellent toughness and hardness (Brinell ~250 HB). The alloy is highly resistant to chloride-induced stress corrosion cracking, pitting, and crevice corrosion, maintaining its mechanical integrity even in high temperatures and harsh environments.
